 If that is true then why does the software for a MaxiSys Pro cost more?

 Support. Is the software the same for the MaxiSys Pro as the MaxiSys and if so why does the MaxiSys Pro software cost more?

 I don't know if you would  get Autel's entire Global data base for each car make for every model in every geographic region in the USA. I don't believe if the scanners have Chinese Car coverage available on USA scanners
 The reason you pay more for the Pro updates is for 12 months of access to Autel Server  to get BMW and Mercedes  programming files, I don't know of  any tablet based function  the Pro can do,the regular Maxi can't do with the regular VCI ,because you need a laptop PC to use the Maxi Flash Pro VCI  with an OE paid subscription for other makes if you need to do any J2534 device pass through programming .
